Titre: Is it normal for a garage to keep your car for days just to diagnose something? Posté par: brianholt le 19 Octobre 2026 à 07:23:42 I dropped my car off on Monday for a diagnostic and it's now Thursday with no real update beyond "we're still looking into it". I get that some faults take time, but I'm starting to wonder whether they're actually working on it or just haven't gotten around to it. I've been without a car all week and it's becoming a real problem. How long do you normally allow a garage to keep the car before you start pushing for answers? And at what point do you just cut your losses and take it somewhere else, even if it means paying for a diagnostic you didn't get much from?
